More About - Christine and Cornish Creams
Almost accidentally I got in touch with an old school friend, and found out that he teaches people to make their own skincare preparations based around a holistic, natural ethic. Realising that I didn't like the lists of ingredients I found on many hand creams that were available a few years ago, I did some more research, and then went on a residential course in London to learn more, and I started off just by making hand cream for myself. I gave hand cream to my friends as presents, then thought I'd make a foot cream. . . and a night cream. . . then Aunty Ruby asked me to make a cream for her . . . the next thing I knew, here were Cornish Creams!
I only make small batches at a time so that each jar of Cornish Creams is as fresh as it can be. The only testing of Cornish Creams is done on me and my friends, I use as many natural ingredients as I can, organic wherever possible, and I have a very strong "green" ethic behind all that I do.
Most Cornish Creams come in two sizes, the lovely Cobalt Blue Glass Jars which hold 50ml, and the handy 10ml Travel Pot. The 50ml size works out cheaper than the Travel Pots, but the 10ml size is great if you just want to try out a new Cornish Cream, or for carrying around with you.
Travel Pots
In the photos, the Travel pots shown are 8ml, this is the size I used to use, but now I've managed to get 10ml pots which I think are a better, flatter, shape,(you can see a photo of the pots if you take a look at the Ointments page because I use the same pots for the Ointments and the Travel Pots) These are ideal for putting in your pocket or bag and now you get 10ml instead of 8ml, that's 25% extra free - no excuse not to try a couple then, eh?
Simply Moisturiser - my Credit Crunch Cornish Cream - comes only in 100ml PET clear plastic pots with the familiar dark blue lid.
Packaging
Your parcel of Cornish Creams may use recycled packaging, but it will always be safely packed. Postage to the UK mainland is free. The price you see on the website, is the price you pay. Your order will usually be sent on the next working day after receipt, and confirmation sent to you by email.
You break the seal
Each jar of Cornish Creams has at least one of its labels forming a "tamper evident" seal, it will also have an ingredients label, and a batch number. Please note that to keep Cornish Creams at their best, they should be kept out of direct sunlight and away from extremes of temperature, so not on the bathroom windowsill please.
The full range of Cornish Creams is described in detail, with each product having its own page on the website. You will find links at the foot of each page to each of the other pages.
For your peace of mind here's just a little reminder - Cornish Creams skincare products do NOT contain Lanolin, Petroleum or paraffin products nor Parabens preservatives.
